Hi everyone Another interesting month, the usual star charts and newsletters are attached. The amazing image of the black hole really stole the news cycle this month and I’m sure you all have seen the image read about the discovery along with the team behind it. In the world of Anthropology and human evolution the discovery of a new and ancient human species on Luzon was a major discovery and the story of our own evolution becomes ever more interesting and unexpected. With the “Hobbits” on Flores the islands of South East Asia are one interesting area and Sulawesi is another island to explore. The research paper on this discovery was huge in size (50MB) probably due to the imbedded images, but can be found on the web. New studies also shed light on the people of ancient Briton and there migration patterns around and before Stonehenge was built. Nasa has released a stunning and detailed book on our Planet.
